Holloway shows the infamous Count commencing his descent down the walls of Castle Dracula, an iconic image full of supernatural menace, while the image on the spine shows the castle in the distance and a bat flying toward the viewer. This first edition, first printing is bound in original red cloth boards, with blind stamped design and title to front board and gold gilt lettering to spine. As the spine has split down the back edge, the binding is in need of slight tlc, although internally it is in tact.

Inside, there are two small newspaper clipping to the inside of the front board, relating to the book and author from the years and There is some age spotting and slight toning to the pages, but otherwise they are clean and in excellent condition. In all, with a little tlc to the binding, this will be a very smart example of this first edition by the popular horror author, Bram Stoker.
